Seth was so tired this day that he fell asleep in his highchair in the middle of eating dinner. Seth has always been a challenge when it comes to sleeping so anytime he falls asleep while not being held by somebody it is front page news around our house.
And this picture is here just because I think it is cute....Sunday, September 06, 2009
July
Because I as so lousy at keeping this thing updated (and I'm suffering from a bad case of insomnia lately) I thought I'd post a few pictures from our summer since Hailey's arrival. Seth was moved into the front big bedroom when his old room became Hailey's. He had enough room in his new room to set up his tent and tunnel and boy was that fun. He even took his elmo chair into his tent so that he would be comfortable while hanging out and watching his big truck movies. In this picture take a look at his hair, which we thought we would grow out and then cut into a long surfer style cut, but...
the long hair got old quick and we ended up cutting it into a very cute spikey do, which he modeled for the camera here (Note: He hates to have his hair spiked and is quite dramatic each time we do it, you would think I was torturing him.
We celebrated the 4th of July with Ma, Papa, Sa (Auntie Alisa) and Conner (not pictured).

A little tummy time
Hailey has started to hold her head up quite good and we have started giving her a little bit of tummy time each day. From the smiles she gives us I think she is enjoying it...
This past weekend we went to the birthday party for our friend Brena who turned 9 years old! It was a swim party and Seth loves going swimming. He insisted on wearing goggles that were the size of his entire face oh and check out the one flipper he has on his foot...
Last week we also took a trip to the zoo and Seth really enjoyed it. Since he started watching Zoboomafoo he has become very interested in animals so this trip was very exciting to him as he recognized a lot of the animals that he has been learning about. We also feed the ducks who had no fear of us and were actually taking the bread right out of Seth's hands. Hailey was a doll as she usually is on our outings...

August 2009
I've been told that I have no pictures of my DH on here so this one if for you Aunt Dawn. I have been enjoying my time at home very much, but I will admit that it is sometimes quite challenging with a 2 1/2 year old and an 8-week old. Luckily for me, Hailey is an amazingly relaxed baby and is such a good sleeper. Compared to my experience with Seth as a newborn this has been a breeze. This month she really started to smile a lot, which you can see in the picture with her big brother. Oh and Happy 32nd Birthday to me and 2 months to Hailey!

Week 26 pictures
I had a request for some belly shots, so here you go! In other pregnancy news, I once again have gestational diabetes and have begun "the diet". I don't really mind it, most of the time anyway, but it will be tough when we go to Florida...which is only 6 weeks away!!! We cannot wait. We are now about 15 days away from April 15th. Things should be slowing down a bit and boy will that be nice...I will however miss the extra money :)

The MckFamily...
has been thrown into a nightmare with their baby boy Stellan having a recurrence of his heart problems that were last seen in the womb, but were thought healed at delivery. Please send your thoughts and prayers to the family and visit her blog for updates on precious little Stellan.

The giraffes were hungry!
I took my little man to the zoo for a couple of hours yesterday and we had a great time, especially feeding the giraffes!

It'll be quiet...
for the next couple of months because tax season is upon us. We are required to work 55+ hours right now, so that leaves me very little blogging time. I'll try to update when I can if anything should happen that warrants my precious free time. As of right now my belly is growing, I can feel the beginnings of my little girls precious kicks, and Seth is adorable as ever and getting so big. Hope all of you have a wonderful tax season, oh wait that really doesn't mean much to you if you aren't crazy enough to have the same profession as I do.

It's a GIRL!!!
On Monday our ultrasound revealed that we are having a girl! Everything looks good and we are measuring right on track. I still cannot believe how amazing it is to see a baby's heart beat right there on the screen. We could see all four chambers of the heart and it just really makes me think about how truly amazing the creation of a life is!

Fun in the snow
This past Saturday we took a quick trip up to Shaver Lake to introduce Seth to the snow. He loved the snow and had a great time throwing snowballs at Daddy and sliding down the hill on his butt. Next year we will load up on the snow gear and go back for a longer trip and maybe even rent a cabin, of course this will all be interesting with the addition of a 6 month old!

Christmas at 2 years old
Here is Seth fresh out of bed and getting a peek of what Santa left for the first time. I have to mention his hair because if you were to see my Christmas pictures as a kid you would see a rats nest on the back of my head as well.
Seth would make this face and shake his fists every time he opened a toy that required an adult to take it out of it's packaging and he didn't want to wait.
My oh my it is now truck city in our house. He LOVES trucks and everyone listened. I must say though that he has played with each and every one of them.
I had the week after Christmas off, so Seth and I took a quick trip down south to visit my Granny & Papa, dad, and various aunts and cousins. The weather was beautiful and Seth really enjoyed playing outside with my dad's dogs. Here he is with Sadie.
